Cold meets warm

Duck blanket tie ties
Today's obsession; a bright sunshiny cheesy yellow fleece blanket! 3 yards of 50% off fleece littered with duckies! Fleece is really expensive at normal price :( so I was lucky :) It's getting pretty cold and I decided that I needed another blanket and a new project! Here's some instructions (I don't measure... just so you know)

Tie tie fleece blanket:
1. Pick out two pieces of fleece (I like to get a pattern and a solid color so it is better on your eyes... but hey it's your blanket!)
2. Get 2.5 yards of both fleeces (I got 3 yards, which made it really long on one side...
3. Line them up so the sides you want are facing out
4. Make cuts on all sides about 4-5 inches long and 1-2 inches wide.
***remember i don't measure***
5. Double knot each strip with its corresponding strip. (I like to do mine by sides, so I cut then tie one side, and then cut then tie the next, and so forth.)
6. Voila! You are done! Congrats!  Now you have a warm blanket for the winter :)

Soooo... if you aren't totally into doing this process I can do it for you! If you get me the materials or give me money for the materials I would be happy to make your one of a kind tie tie blanket!

But either way it's extremely satisfying to make something you are going to use!
Warm meets cold <3
stay warm!
